Hydrate a dry lip piercing?!???!??!??!?

I just got my lip pierced 5 days ago. i have been doing all the salt soaks(twice a day), oral rinses( after meals) The only issue is mh piercing feels like its getting a bit dry, is this part of the healing process? Is there anything safe to use to hydrate it (vitamin E oil, vaseline or polysporin maybe?) Thankss xx

    Oh, don’t worrry it just means your skin is sensitive to either the salt soaks or whatever mouth rinse ur using (basically the cleaning products). Are you using a minty mouthwash, too?
