6-8 weeks , if it’s still raw try soaking it in warm salt water for 10 minutes every day. That helped with mine!

Piercers says 6-8 weeks and that’s normally how long it’ll take for it to be completely and fully healed. Warm water and sea salt will help with the rawness on the inside. Goodluck :)

It takes up to 6 months for a belly button piercing to heal and not 4 weeks as mentioned.

What do you mean it’s raw? Does it hurt? Is it sore? Is the skin around the piercing reddish?
Also is the skin in the middle is thin, and gets thinner by the time, it might be rejecting. Belly button piercing is a surface piercing and surface piercings have a high rejection rate. So just watch out for that.

As for the piercing not seemed to be fully healed yet, something might causing the irritation and delaying the healing process. Accidentally hit it, or caught it on things, sleeping on it at night, playing with the jewelry, change the jewelry or taking it in and out can cause irritation. The less the movement the better and sooner the piercing will fully heal.

You also want to make sure that you are using the best jewelry material, such as titanium or stainless steel. This is really important.

Do sea salt soaks for a few days. Warm water + non iodized salt mixed in a cup. Soak the piercing in for 10 minutes, 2 times a day. Rinse with water and pat it dry with a paper towel.

And no professional piercers say that it takes 6 weeks to heal, only people at Claire’s who don’t have a license to do piercings and use a gun to pierce say that it will take only 6 weeks to fully heal.
