Should I be worried? Breast Cancer?

Okay. For the past few weeks, I have been feeling a horrible piercing feeling in my right breast that feels as though someone is stabbing my directly through the center of my breast, bad enough that it took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes. Both nipples have also been unusually sore (and no, they haven't been overstimulated by anything as of late) and are bumpy. My breasts are normally fairly sore (I wear an F cup) but they have been even more so in the past month. I've felt them and I don't think I feel anything unusual, but honestly, I don't really know what I'm feeling for. Normally, I wouldn't be too worried, but I have a HUGE family history of it. My mother has it, my grandmother has it, and my great-grandmother died of it, as did a great-aunt on the same side. All but my grandmother were young when it struck - in their thirties. I am only 18, so I haven't been too worried about it, because I figured the chance of it hitting before I turn 25 are miniscule. I mean, I always was kind of resigned to the fact that I was destined to get it, but I didn't think this soon. Could this be it, or am I overreacting? @Gia - I wasn't sure if the suddenly bumpy nipples were something to worry about. And I've done a self-exam a bunch of times, but I just don't know... I mean, things feel lumpy, but I can't tell if its breast tissue or solid mass. @Malina Actually my doctor strongly suggested I start getting yearly mammograms after I turned 18, because of the aggressiveness my family has experienced with it. And also, there's no such thing as too young - the youngest documented case of breast cancer was a 10 year old in the US.

Breast cancer usually comes in the form of a lump, not soreness. I think you are just stressing your self considering your family history (it runs in my family too). There are self breast exams you could give yourself monthly to check for lumps in your breasts. Also, these could be signs of your period coming or just finishing it.
